This was around 2008 when I was in high school. I was brushing my teeth one night and the light over the bathroom mirror flickered. Normal old wiring, I thought. Then I noticed — my reflection didn’t move when I turned my head. It stayed staring forward for maybe half a second too long.
That pause broke me. I dropped my toothbrush and just froze. Then the reflection “caught up,” like a delayed video. My mom yelled asking what was wrong and when she came in everything looked normal again. I tried to recreate it with lighting, lag on my phone camera, anything. Nothing.
Still gives me chills remembering how off it felt. Like it wasn’t me for that half-second.

Guardian angel watching over you, no doubt.
Reflection anomaly? Truly chilling!
Are you suggesting there's a logical explanation for this?
Mirrors can reveal hidden truths… eerie!

Sounds like a scene from a horror movie!
