Submitted by Jenny – Sometimes I’d be in the kitchen, trying to bake her famous apple pie, and I’d get this strong urge to double-check the cinnamon. It was like she was nudging me, reminding me not to forget her secret ingredient. Other times, I’d be in the garden, trying to make sense of her planting schedule, and I’d swear I could hear her gentle humming, guiding my hands to the right spot for the tulip bulbs.
There were times when I felt her presence the strongest, like that day when I nearly tripped on the stairs. I felt something steady me, like an invisible hand, just as I was about to fall. I laughed it off, but deep down, I knew it was her.
I’ve come to cherish these moments, little reminders that she’s still looking after me somehow. It’s a bond that defies explanation, bringing a sense of peace, as if she’s saying that no matter how tough things get, she’s got my back, sending me her love and strength from wherever she may be.
