True Ghost Tales – The Worlds Most Haunted Places

Legends of ghosts abound wherever history has made its mark. From battlefields to hospitals, prisons to inns. If these places have existed for centuries or more, and if they are where history, especially tragic history, was made, ghost stories will inevitably follow.

The World’s Most Haunted Places: From the Secret Files of Ghostvillage.com explores the history, folklore, and ghostly legends behind some of the world’s most fascinating haunted places.

Jeff Belanger, speaks with witnesses, psychics, and ghost hunters who tell their stories and share their research on haunted places around the world.

First he presents the clear and logical history of the place where the haunting is located. Learn something about the history of places like the Queen Mary, Big Nose Kate’s Saloon or the White House. He relates the story behind the ghost or ghosts in question by telling about the theories of who the ghost might be. Sometimes there is more than one idea of who the ghost is or how it came to be, Belanger relates them all, to allow the to reader decide which theory best fits.

He then goes on to describe the early sightings involving the haunting he is writing about. Some of these apparitions have been reported for hundreds of years.

Every story related in this book is backed up with modern eyewitness accounts, something that is often missing from books on ghosts and paranormal books in general.

Many of the cases covered in this book contain accounts of paranormal experiences that have occurred in recent years and nowhere does he rely on old legends which no living person can attest to.

Some of the haunts to be found in the book are well known, such as the Whaley House and the Tower of London, but even with these well worn haunts Belanger is able to shed new light. He does this by actually talking with people who have had a personal ghostly experience is the last few years.

Websites, phone numbers and great black and white photos of each haunted location are included.
