What if Your Child’s Imaginary Friend is Really a Ghost?

Posted on September 12, 2007

Do you have a child that has an imaginary friend? Or maybe one of your friends or family members has a child who talks about their imaginary friend.

According to psychologists it is normal, and quite common, for children to invent imaginary friends. But what if your child’s new friend is actually a ghost?

This can become a very dangerous situation for your child as the ghost, or spirit, may be malignant and wish to harm them. In one case a young girl’s imaginary friend nearly convinced her to jump out of a window from which she would have been very seriously hurt if not killed.

Currently we have two different stories here that involve a child’s imaginary friend. Read about the experiences of these two families and learn what can happen when that imaginary friend is a real ghost.

I hate imaginary friends. When I was 3, I had this imaginary friend named Julie. She was my bestest friend ever. Until one night, my dad wouldn’t get me what I wanted, and Julie was with me, so I was so mad I shouted, “I HATE YOU!” And I ran upstairs to my room. Well I was talking to Julie, and she knew I was upset because she was with me when I said i hate you, so Julie went downstairs. Next morning, my dad was found outside on the patio with a knife in his head. After that incident I kinda turned emo and depressed. Now i hate my life no one likes me

Interesting point for consideration; not all ghosts are evil. I know many will not understand this concept, some seem to choose not to, but it is true. I had a ghost in my house. She was a little girl. She was usually angry, but never at me. Most times I actually kinda liked having her around. Unfortunately, she seems to be gone now, and there are still so many questions I have for her.

Some of u readers may not know but there is 3 types of ghost.dark (evil)..white (nice)..grey (pranksters).. Keep a close watch on ur childs reactions to thier maginary friend perhaps write down details or put up a camera.ask friendly questions n talk with ur child about the friend f u think its getting serious to a form of danger ask it to leave n leave ur child alone.Do this often without ur child knowing.f it refuses to leave ur child alone then ask it to leave with ur child with you but be agreeable about it for ur child may keep the ghost a secret from you.
